SE IT R^c50L'vF,u by cne Comn�on Council o£ the City of Oshkosh
that the proper City offirials are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into an appropriate agreement with the University o£
Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Colleg�a of Business Administration for the
Economic Market Feasibility Element of the Downtown Redevelopment
Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that cost £or said study�not to exceed
$1,000.00. Money for thi.s purpose is hereby appropriated from the
CITY OF OSHKOSH DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT FUND.

GIHEP.��S, the Planning and Redevelopment of Oshkosh Docmtown (PROD)
Co-^ittee has been designated by the City of Oshkosh as the responsible
body for the planning and encouragement of development efforts in the
�o:antown, and
L•]EER£..AS, the Cor.vnittee has investigated alternative methods to�
endertake redevelopment plans, and
WkiREAS, the City has contracted with the firm of Harland
Bartnolo�ew and Associates to prepare the transportation and Physical
Plzn Elements o£ the Oshkosh Downtown Plan; �
ti0S1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning and Redevelopment
oi Osh;cosh Downtown Committee CPROD):
Section 1: That the Committee recommend that the Common Council
eutnorize and direct appropriate City Officials to enter into necessary

b3._,inistration to conduct the Economic Market Feasibility Study for

S_etion 2:� That the contract amount not exceed One Thousand Dollars

revie`red. Such vazlables as ege, pppulatlon� inmme and employnent rrlll be
traced and projections will be provided,
In section two� retail sAles at botrt the city and cowity level are
analyzed. Cor�parative data from Outagamle and La �ass Counties nre given.
Oata for each retail sector is provided and the outlook for the £utuze Se
