HomeMy WebLinkAbout27283 / 74-07� � .. _ ._ ,�. - - - REVISED # 7 RESOLi7TION FINAL RESOLUTION - Sanitary sewer, water main & grading and graveling portions of Vinland, Knapp, North Main, Medalist Drive and West 33rd Avenue WfiEREAS, the Board of Yublic Werks (City Manager) of the City of Oshkosh held a public hearing on the 15th day of October, 1974 at 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing all interested persons concerning the preliminary resolutions and reports of the Board of Public Works (City Manager) on the proposed improvements consisting of sanitary sewer, water main and grading and graveling, pursuant to resolutions of June 6, 1974, September 19, 1979 and October 3, 1974 of the Oshkosh Common Council: SEWER ONLY KNAPP STREET - From Florida Avenue to 600 feet south of Florida Avenue SF.WER AND S9ATER VINLAND STREET - West Smith Avenue to 350 feet north of Smith Avenue GRADING AND GRAVELING NORTf] MAIN STREET - From 657 feet north of Chicago and North- western Railroad right of way to County Trunk Highway "J" S°WER lu'VD S4ATER, GRF�DIFG AND GRAVELING MEDALIST DRIVE - From 233 feet south of 44est 33rd Avenue to 500 feet south of West 33rd Avenue WEST 33RD AVLNUE - From tAedalist Drive to 735 feet east of Medalist Drive � NOW, THER�FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as follows: 1. That the report of the City Manager, acting as thc Board of Public Works, pertaining to the const,-uctior. of thc above descri_bed public improvements, including planc and specifications therefor, is hereby adopted and approved with the following modifications: a. b. c. 2. That the action of the City Manager in advertisiny for bids and to carry out the woxk of such improvements in accor.dance with the report of the City Manager and in accordance with the said resolutions heretofore adopted, is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed. 3. That payment for said improvements be made by assessing the cost o£ the property benefited as indicate3 in said report, except as modified herein. 4. That the benefits and damayes shoem on the report as modif.ied I are true and correct and are hereby confirmed. � �" . ___ . _�..._. ... __ _ . _ _._..,_� £INAL RESOLUTION cont'd. 5. That the assessments for all projects included in said report are hereby combined as a single assessment but any interested property owner shall be entitled to object to each assessment separately or both assessments jointly for any purpose or purposes. 6. That the assessments may be paid in cash, or in installments pursuant to Section 25-83 thru 25-89 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code. Said deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of eight percent (8°s) per annum on the unpaid balanee. The City Clerk shall publish an installment assessment notice in accordance with Section 66.54 (7) (e) o£ thz r:i�ccn�in Statutes for 19G9 in tha official newspaper of the City. 7. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution in the official newspaper of the city, the OSHKOSH DAILY NORTHWESTERN. 6.
