The amount original],y certified £or that portion oS the Town oP Vinla� �ying in the Oshkosh School District was $3,307�500. An amonnt o£ $1�004,9�0 was erroneous�y included in the Taan of Vinland portion o£ our district. The Department of Taxation informed me that the $1�004,9�0 should have been included in the Toan oF Vinland £or the Neertah School District. Therefore I was ordered to reduce the Town o£ Vinland valuation Sor our district by $1,004,900. We were requested to infor^i the clerks o£ the municipalities attached to the Oshkosh school district to hold the assessment uT the 19'75 school tax levy� Sor our district� until corrected figures on the levy would be issued to them. Today I met with the city atto^ney and other city o£Sicials and the cit,y attorney has in£orme3 us that all that needs to be done is to re-certify the corrected levy to the m.unicipalities involved. This wi11 be done by the city clerk. Attached is a copy o£ the worksheet that Mr. Jansen and I prepa.red which will shorx you� among other things� the � of school tas for each of our municipalities and the change in the asount of levy for them as well as the increase or decrease in the amount th=y will have to levy for these purposes.
