WHEREAS, ROBERT N. BAKER, began his employmer.t with
the City of Oshkosh, on September 1, 1955, and effective
December 27, 1974, will retire; znd
�9HERL'"S, ROBERT N. BAAER has been a Peblic Lmployee
for some 30 years— 19 of which have been devoted to t?�e serving
of tne citia.ns of the City of Oshkosh; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT N. BAKER, has played an important role
in the prosperity and developmen*_ of the City of Oshkosh
during his employment tenure; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT N. BAKER'S first position was that of
Civil Engineer. In January of 1963, he was promoted to
Director of Services. In January of 1972, there was a
departmental reoryanization and he became the new Director of
Parks; and
WHEREAS, RORERT N. BAKER, has had much to contribute
to the City in the way of talents and training as he carries a �
Bachelor's Degree �in Forestry ar�.d is still a Registered Profescional
Engineer in the State of Wisconein; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT N. BAKER, has been among the most conscientious
of any City employee as stated k�y City Manager, Gordon B. Jaeger.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Oshkosh, that ROBERT N_ BAHER is hereby commended fpr
his most faithful and dedicated service to the City of Oshkos'r..
