HomeMy WebLinkAbout27490 / 75-01N 1 �RESOLUTION MAR 2 01975 FINAI, RESOLUTION - CONCRETE PAVING OF' WEST NINTEi AVENUE N�fIEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh held a public hvaring on Che 20th day of March, 1975 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing all interested persons concerning the preliminary resolutions and reports of the City Manager (Board of Publir_ Works) on the proposed --ve��nt- -„�.sti;;y oi con..ic�. pa-aing ard eppurtenant improve�iients o�r.�the followinq street, all pursuant to Resolution kl2 oi September 20. 1973 oi the Oshkosh Common Council: WEST NINTH AVENUE - From Knapp Street to South Main Street NOW,�TFIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as follows: � ].. That the report o£ the City Manager, acting as the Board of Public Svorks, pertaining to the construction of the above described public improvements, including plans and specifications therefore, is hereny adupted and approved with the following modifications: a. b. c. 2. That the action of the City Manager in advertising for bids and to carry out the work of such improvements in accordance with the report of the City Manager an3 in accordance with the said resolutions i�ereYOfore adop'ted, is fierai�y ayproven, ratifie<i and confirme3. 3. That payment £or said improvements be made by assessing the cost of the property benefited as indicated in said report, except as molified herein. 4. That the benefits and damages shown on the report as modified are true a�d correct and are hereby confirmed. 5. That the assessments for all projects included in said report are hereby c,ombined as a singl.e assessment but any interested proper.ty owner shall be entitled to object to each assessment sep- 2�at_cly or both assessments jointly for any pitrpose or purpos^,s. 6. That the assessments may be pai.d in cash, or in installments pursuant to Section 25-83 thru 25-89 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code. Said deferred paymenTS to bear interest at the rate of eight percent (88) per annum on the unpai.d balance. The City Clerk shall publi.sh an installment assessment notice in accordance with Section 66.54 (7) (e) of thc Wisconsin Statutes for 1969 in the official newspaper of the Ci ty. 7.
