HomeMy WebLinkAbout27506 / 75-01# 1 RESOLUTION ppR 3 1975 FINAL RESOLUTION - CONCRETE PAVING ON RESIDENTIAL STREETS WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City o£ Oshkosh held a public hearing on the 3rd day of April, 1975 at 7_00 p.m. for the purpose oi hearing all interested persons concerning the preliminary resolutions and reports of the City Manager (BOard of Public Works) on the proposed improvements consisting of the concrete paving and appurtenant work on the following street, all pursuant to Resolution #14 of January 16, 1975 of the Oshkosh Common Council: LEEWARD COORT From Bowen Street east to the end o£ the cul-de-sac WINDWARD COORT - From Bowen Street to the end of the cul-de-sac STARBOARD COURT - From Aowen Street east to the end o£ the cul-de-sac GREENWOOD COURT - From BOwen Street east to the end of the cul-de-sac MALLIIRD AVENUE - From Bowen Street to Hazel Street EVANS STREET - From Murdock Avenue to Greenwood Court GROVE STREET - From Murdock Avenue to �Greenwood Court OAR STREET - From Murdock Avenue to Mallard Avenue HAZEL STREET - From Murdock Avenue nozth to Lake Winnebago BEECH STREET - From Murdock Avenue to Linwood Avenue STILLWELL AVENUE - From Beech Street to Wisconsin Street GRUENWALD AVENUE - From Beech Street to Wisconsin Street VIOLA AVENUE - From Heech Street to Jackson Street WZSCONSIN STREET - From Gruenwald Avenue to Linwood Avenue HUNTINGTON PLACE - From W. 9th Avenue to Cambridge Avenue DEVONSHSRE DRIVE - From Cambzidge Avenue south to the end o£ the cul-de-sac CAMBRIDGE AVENUE - From Devonshire Drive to Canterbury Drive CANTERBURY DRIVE - From Cambridge Avenue to Kensington Avenue KEhSSNGTON AVENUE - From Devonshire Drive to Mason Street ARMORY PLACE - From W. 9th Avenue to 120 feet south of Crystal Springs Avenue _ WINDSOR STREET - From Armory Place to Crystal Springs Avenue REICHOLV STREET - From W. 9th Avenue to Crystal Springs Avenue WESTFIELD STREET - From N1. 9th Avenue to Crystal Springs Avenue MORELAND STREET - From N7estiield Street to 120 feet south of Crystal Springs Avenue CRYSTAL SPRINGS AVENUE - From Moreland Street to Axmory Place CONCRETE PAVING CON'T. WEST 7TH AVENUE - From Reichow Street west to the end oP the cul-de-sac WEST 6TH AVENUE - From Reichow Street west to the end of the � cul-de-sac BISN,ARCK AVENUE - From Reichow Street west to the end o£ the cul-de-sac tdOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as follows: 1. That the report of the City Manag2r, actinq as the Hoard ef. Public Works, pertaining to the constructlon o£ the above described public improvements, including plans and specifications therefore, is hereby adopted and approved with the £ollowing modifications: a. b. c. 2. That the action of the City Manager in advertising for bid<• and to carry out the work o£ such improvemer.ts in accordance with the repor.t of the City Manager and in accordance with the said resolutions heretofore adopted, is hereby approved, ratified and con£irmed. 3. That payment £or said improvements be made by assessing the cost of th_ property benefited as indicated in said report, except as modi£ied herein. 4. P.hat the benefits and damages shown on the report as modified are true and correct and are hereby confirmed. 5. That the assessments for a11 projects inclnded in said report are hereby combined as a �in;ie assessment but any interested property owner shall be er.titled to object ;:o each assessment sep- arately or both assessments jointly £or any purpose or purposes. 6. That the assessments may be paid in ca�h, or in installments pursuant to Section 25-83 thru 25-39 of th= Gsnko�h Municipal Code. Said de£erred payments to bear i.nte_:est at the rate of eight percent (8�1 per annum on the unpaid balance. The City Clerk shall publish a�: installment assessment notice in zccordance with Section 66.54 (7) (e' of the Wisconsin Statutes for 1969 in the official newspaper of the City. 7. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution in the official newspaper of the City, the OSHKOSH D�ILY NORm�ESTERN. 8.
