INITIAL RESOLUTION - �� CONCRETE PAVING
BE IT RESOLVED hy the Common Council of the City of �shkosh as
follows:
l. The Common Council of the City of Oshko�h hereby declares
�ts intention to exercise its power und�r Section 66.60 of the Wis-
consin Stat�.ztes to levy special. �ssessme�ts upon propert�y within the

in�rovement of the following named streets:
TAFT AVENUE from Sawyer Street to Y.oeller Road
KNAPP STREET frc�m South Park Avenu� to West 20th Avenue
MASON STREET from Wes�. 5th Avenue to Witzel Avenue
LJEST 4TH AVENUE from Sawyer Street to South Lark Street
GLEN AVENUE from Sawyer Street to Mason Street
BISMARCK AVENUE from Sawyer Street to Mason Street
WEST 5TH AVENUE from Sawyer Street to Mason Street
*�SAIN STREET from Murdock Avenue to Libbey Avenue
SMITH AVENUE from Jackson Street to Main Street
2. Said improvements shall consist of cancrete paving as described
�bove and appurtenant work with concrete curb and ctutter on both sides of
tze street at a gracte heretotor�: estabiished by special ordinance of the
City of Oshkosh.
3. Before such improvements are made, the Board of Public Works
is direct�d to cause water and sewer service pipes to be sa laid in
said streets from the main to the curb 1.�_n.e of each lot fronting on
th� said streets and to keep ar► accurate accourit oi the ex��en�e in-
curred in front of each lot and report the same to the Comptroller who
shall cause the amount charged to each lot to be entered on the tax
roll as a special. tax against said road, provided, however, that the
Board of Publie Works shall not cause such laterals to be so laid for
any particular lot or parcel where, in the apinion of th� Board of
Public Works, it wou�d be impractical to do so. �
4. Tn.e total amount assessed against such district shall not
exceed the total cost of the improvements and the amount ass�ssed
against any parcel shall �iot be greater than the benefits accrued
��ereto from said imgroveir.e:nts.

Upon completion of such report, th� Board of PuDlic Works is
directed to file a copy thereof in the City Clerk's office for public
inspection.
. 7. The,�^7isconsin Public Service Cprparation of Oshkosh, Wisconsin,
is hereby required to install gas main� in said streets and service lat-
erals at such intervals as the Board of Public F?or%s shall direct; said
�•;o�k to be completed prior to the improvement of said streets. The City
Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this resol�ation ta said corporation
forthwith.
8. The Board of Public W'orks and the proper City officials shall do
all things necessary so as to complete the znstallation af storm sew�r in
said street prior to the improvemencs thereof.

according to the �rovisins of Section 25-3 thru 25 -11 of �:he Qshkosh
L•iunicipal Code .
14. Upon receiving the report of the Board o� Public Works, the
C1erk is directecl to give notice af a public hearing on such report as
=_�cified in Sectinn 66.60 (7) of the Wisc.onsin St�tutes. Th� hearing
shall be held by the Board of Public Works in the Council Chambers in
City �:all at a time set by the Clerk in accordance with Sectiori 66.60
o� the Wisconsin Statutes.
