# 16 RESOLUTION
DESIGNATING NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has adopted the 1976 application
for Housing and Community Development Funds which provides as a goal
and priority the improvement and stablization of older, residential
neighborhoods in the City, and
WHE?�EAS, $219,000 has been allocated for a Neighborhood
Development Program for the 1976 program year,
NO�d, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Oshkosh the boundaries of the first neighborhood area
cesignated shall be that area bouncied by New York Avenue, Jackson
Street, Irving Avenue and Elmwood Aver�ue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED �hat the administration is hereby
cirected to work with residents of said area to determine needs
o` said ar.ea and the administ-ration to prepare an improvement
program taking into consideration neighborhood needs.
