HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager's ReportBID Manager Report November 2015 Priorities for the Month:  Recruitment signs for vacant buildings  Interchangeable message board  Monitor BID interns  Finish coordination of holiday beautification elements  Holiday passports: finish content & distribute  Tree lighting ceremony  Update website with all holiday events  Holiday poster  Meet with new downtown merchants & Card Concepts for the gift card program  Reconcile gift card account every Friday  Develop and send the monthly newsletter  Start 2016 directory & kiosk excel sheet  Put all advertising medias in place for the month & invoice  Update website for 2016 listings and additional documents Committee Reports: Marketing Consortium  Put together the monthly agenda  Sent out prior minutes and agenda  Attended monthly meeting  Assist with Holiday committee planning and promotional materials o Breakfast with the Grinch tickets setup on Eventbrite: SOLD OUT Beautification  Held our monthly meeting  Tested & purchased lights for the 9 trees in Opera House Square  Working with Bank First National and Candeo Creative for winter banners  Working on new beautification contracts for 2016  Going through old banners to keep some for display or projects Recruitment Fund Grant  Sent out RFG packets; meeting being held on Nov. 17th Retention Grant Program  No Grant Submissions  Sent application via email to 2 potential applicants Other Highlights/Projects  Attended the WDAC conference  Met with ONW to go over holiday advertisements  Attended the monthly SERC meeting  Channel 5 promote tree lighting and upcoming downtown holiday events
