PRESENT: Tom Otto, Caroline Panske,Adam Bellcorelli, James Michelson,Jay Stengel, Vicky Redlin

1.Call to Order
Mr.Michelson called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
2.Approval of September 17,2015 Meeting Minutes
Mr. Bellcorelli moved to approve the September 17th 2015 meeting minutes.Mr.Stengel
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
3.Election of Officers
Ms. Naudziunas requested nominations for chair. Ms. Redlin made a motion to nominate Mr.
Michelson and Ms. Panske seconded the motion.Ms. Naudziunas requested nominations for
chair two more times. No other nominations were requested and nominations were closed.
The committee voted on Mr. Michelson as Chair and motion carried unanimously.Mr.
Michelson was elected chair. Ms. Naudziunas requested nominations for vice-chair. Ms. Panske
made a motion to nominate Mr. Bellcorelli and Ms.Redlin seconded the motion. Ms.
Naudziunas requested nominations for vice -chair two more times.The committee voted on Mr.
Bellcorelli as vice-chair and motion carried unanimously. Mr. Bellcorelli was elected vice-chair.
Resident Perry Carney attended the meeting to discuss his concerns about a crossing on South
Main Street and Cimarron Court. Ms. Naudziunas suggested that he attend the November
meeting and this item will be added to the agenda.
4.North Jackson Street Sidewalks –Discussion
Ms. Naudziunas explained that at the September meeting the committee agreed to request this
item to be discussed by Common Council.Mr. Bellcorelli made a motion to request this item as
a discussion item at Common Council and Ms. Panske seconded the motion.
5.Possible amendment Ordinance 25-54 discussion –Sidewalk Width -Update
Ms. Naudziunas explained that at the September meeting the committee agreed to request this
item to be discussed by Common Council.The committee voted on this item, motion carried
unanimously.
6.Bike and Ped Goals Education Campaign –Discussion
Ms. Naudziunas explained that planning staff met with City of Oshkosh Media Services in order
to coordinate education efforts.Ms. Naudziunas explained that Media Services helped create a
public service announcement video to educate the public on the recently implemented
sharrows.The committee discussed other ideas for the education campaign. The committee
agreed that they would like to volunteer at events such as farmers markets to reach larger
group of people. The committee discussed the idea of sponsoring and planning a spring biking
event for National Bike Month.
7.Grants Information Update –Ms. Panske
Ms. Panske stated that she will continue researching grant opportunities.
8.Agenda Items for the Future Meeting(s)
Resident Perry Carney requested that the South Main Street crossing be added as a discussion
item. Mr. Otto requested a future item to be discussed on the Jackson Street and Murdock
Avenue roundabout. The committee requested to compare the Strava data with the current
bike plan to see if there are any routes that could be changed.
9.Adjournment
Ms. Redlin moved to adjourn the meeting and Ms. Panske seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously at 5:24 p.m.
