T'ne City will, at its own expense, provide and equip the said fire station with whatever fire fighting and rescue equipment deemed necessarv by the City. The C�unty foam unit may be used only in major of�-airport emergencies requiring a foam agent when, in the judar:�ent o� the responsible City Tire commander, such major emergency exceeds the City's regular and on call equipment capabilities, and is subject to the following conditions: i. Petr�chemical type of fire requring foam capacity above t'ne capacity of the City Fire Department. list. 2. County foam truck will be the last unit on the call 3. The duty chief will notify the Airport Nlanager or his designated r��resentative when it becomes necessary to use the County �cam tr�.zc'�. The Airport Manager will then declare an emer�,enc?� and im.:,ediately issue a notice �o airmen, Iimitin_a, the -2- air carrier user operations on th� airport ta t'ne requirero?nt of the in�ex (no lo��er than Index A) prescrip°d in F�R 139.�=9 that provides tne protection capability of the airport's remaining equipment. Only then �eill the County foam truck be released for ofz airaort use. 4. A written report describing the emergency and a11 actions involving airport fire fighting resources sha11 be furnished within 2� hours to the Airport Manager by the Cit_y Fire Department. A like report will be furnished the F.A.A. Great Lakes Region, Air�orts Division, Certification Staff, within 48 hours. City agrees to replace any County owned extenguishing agent, fuel and the like expended by City from County owned fire fighting and rescue equipment at or in response to a City fire call, and to do so at the earliest possible opportunity so as to insure that Co•�-nty a:ared fire fighting and rescue equip^�ent �,�ill not be oL�t of service at the airport. County agrees to replace any City o=st��d extinguishing agent, fuel and the Ii'�e expended by the Cit_y in res�o�se to an airport fire call.
