the Amount of $20,000
BACKGROUND

Neighborhoods Public Improvements. On October 27, 2015, Council approved Phase I of 2015 Great

After consultation with existing neighborhood associations and staff, the following item is being proposed
for Council consideration to utilize a portion of the 2015 Capital Improvement Program funding for Great
Neighborhoods Public Improvements:
Project Recommended:
1. Fox River Clean Up Project (Exhibit 1) $20,000.00
The Marina District Neighborhood Association has requested assistance with removal of debris from the
Fox River along their eastern neighborhood boundary. Debris removal is anticipated to occur at
approximately five locations between the Oshkosh Avenue and Wisconsin/Ohio Street bridges and will
include removal of inetal piers, sunken walls, and old culverts. The primary benefits of this project include
