UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED BY THE PARKS ADVISORY BOARD
AND THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE - Z5-0-4
WHEREAS, the Parks Advisory Board
Preservation Committee on September 8,
meeting to discuss the Miller House,
and the Historic
1976 held a joint
PTF:EREAS, interested parties presented the long-range
�b;vctiv� of �o:n�lete res�erati�� �f the Mi��°r H�use,
WHEREAS, local manufacturinq and retailing establish-
ments have made pledges for ma-terials ta initiate the
restoration,
WHEREAS, the Parks Advisory Board and Historic Pres-
ervation Committee unanimously approved the following
motion:
"That the Parks Advisory Board and the Historic
Preservation Committee would r�commend not to
tear down the Miller House and to enthusiastically
urge interested parties to restore the building,"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cammon Council
accept and support the recommendation to not tear down the
D�ill.er House, ,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oshkosh Common Council
accept and support the decision of the Parks Advisory Board
and Historic Preservation Committee to urge all interested
par�ies to restore the building.
