PURPOSE: FINAL RESOLUTION ASPHALT PAVING AND OVERLAY, AND
ASPHALT PAVING WITH CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER
INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh held a public
hearing on the 21st day of July at 7:00 p.m, for the purpose of hearing
all interested pe�sons concerning the preliminary resolutions and
reports of the City Manager (Board of Public Works) on the proposed
improvements consisting of the asphalt paving and overly, asphalt
paving with concrete curb and gutter and appurtenant improvements on
the following street, all pursuant to Resolution #38 of May 5, 1977
and Resolution #20 of June 7, 1977 of the Oshkosh Common Council:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City
of Oshkosh as follows:
1. That the report of the City Manager, acting as the Board of
Public Works, pertaining to the construction of the above described
public improvements, includinc� plans and specifications therefore, is
hereby adopted and approved �vith the following modifications:
a. A(12)W 6th Ave. and (13) W 7th Ave. rate reduced to $9.2�+
b. Grand St. abutting Pleasant St. property to be assessed 1/2 the
c. Reduction of rate on Grand St. from Merritt frontage on Grand
d. ---- Ave, to Hudson Ave. to $2.81 per front
foot.

2.. That thA action o� the City Manager in advertising for bids
and to carry out th� work of such improvements in accordance with the
report of the City r-ianager and in accordance with the said resolutions
hereto�ore adop�ed, is izereby approved, ratified and conf irmed.
3. That payment for said improvements be made by assessing the
cost of t�e pr�perty benefited as indicated in said report, except as
modified herein.
4. That the benefits and damages shown on the report as modified
are true and c�rrect and are hereby confirmed.
5. That the assessmznts for all projects included in said
report ar� hereby combined as a single assessment but any intere5ted
pronerty owner shall be entitled to object to each assessment sep-
a?"a�?l;r or both assessments jointly for any nurpose or purpeses.
6. That the assessments may be paid in cash, or in installments
pursuan� to Section_ 25-i33 thru 25-89 at the Oshkosh Municigal Code.

;8$) per �nnum on the unpaid balance. The City Clerk shall publish an
installmznt assessment notice in accordance with Section 66�54 (7) (e)
oi the Wisconsin Statutes for 1969 in the official newspaper of the
City.
7. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolutian ir� the
officia� newspaper of the City, the OSHKOSH DAILY NORTHWESTERN.
8. The City Clerk is further directed to mail a copy of this
resclu�.ion to every property owner whose name appears-on the assess-
rnent rol:� cahosP post office address is known or can with reasonable
dilicjence be ascertained.
