It is also understood that the Experimental Aircraft Association is considering the relocation of its Headguarter and Museum fa- cilities to Oshkosh, the city which has hosted its Fly-In Con- vention for the past several years. Because of the jobs which have been created in Oshkosh and the millions of dollars which have been added to the local ecanamy because of the Convention, the City of Oshkosh greatly benefited in the past by having this Canvention in this community. It is also noted that the Experimental Aircraft Association has pre- viously expressed its satisfaction with the City of Oshkosh and Winnebago County in its efforts to assist and cooperate on the proposed relocation but it is concerned by a lack of interest shown by the State of Wisconsin's Department of Business Develop- ment, which has been created to promote business economy through the encouragement of tourism and business location. It is therefore moved that the City Council of the City of Oshkosh respectfully, but urgently, request that Governor Martin J. Schreiber have the State of Wisconsin's Department of Business and Economic Development take appropriate and positive seps to insure the continued location of the Annual Fly-In Convention in Oshkosh and to encourage the location of permanent E.A.A, facil- ities in our city, It is also moved that the contents of this motion be delivered to Governor Schreiber and to the appropriate officers of the Experimental Aircraft Association. :  . . _ QQ 'L"`..---L. . t   cd   +   r1 N   cd -- h-i   O F- c[3  ,7  '  U ri O -I- O O r-I i3  U U rl •rl td n-I  U .. p,  a  ct3 ai N O , 4- - Q o +°  N U   -► . W   •  +    N ' Cd ri •  N   -- W > «3 N   ct3 U O -I $- ,i; fJ2 U U  • O S- N  O  U] -1   -1 cC3 O .Q ri t/  ',' "., rl U] •rl • $- ,' O    N r! •rl  CA i- • f O +, Nd O U 4- y • 4-i   U2 O N W O•ri   a  ' N   f O N  N ^ U] . 'J r-I  C` ',a •r-I CS    O .t- cd cd O C'3 Cd F- r! tJ2 .I  .,  N a ooa>  . u  • 'L    v •  N  f N '      n-1 cd -1 -I-> O  ct3 '  u , O , ".. •rl r-i cL3 E -1 c[i C- «i U  O h-I  O  . .-.
