BOX I�l�, 1190 OSHKOSH,WISCONSIN 54901 To the Honorable Common Council of the City of Oshkosh: Re: Pro�erty at Southwest Corner of Court Street and Otter A�enue Decentber 21, 1977 Chief Cal Phillips has indicated to me that the above p,roperty, which is owned by Dr. E. J. Zmolek and zne, would be most useful to the Fire Department. This property which we own is contiguous �o the new Central Fire 5tation, and the chief suggests that if the City owned the property it would enable the fire vehicles to maneu- ver in the area, and also perhaps to exit on the north side of the building. We concur, and frankly, we thought that the City should have acquired this property at the time the new fire station was built. Dr. Zmolek and I would like to donate the property to the City of Oshkosh on the following texms: 1j The City of Oshkosh to provide a current appraisal and furnish copies to us; 2) We would furnish an abstract of title extended to August 29, 1960; 3) The property would be transferred by warranty deed, free and cleax of all liens and encumbrances, excepting 1977 real estate taxes; 4) The adoption of a resolution by the Common Council accept� ing the deed prior to Decembe,r 29, 1977. We hope that this offer will be accepted by the City, and that the additianal property will help the Fire Department �n maintaining its fine record of performance.
