SUBJECT: Attached Resolution for South Side Library
Rer_ovation Proj ect
As you are aware, the City of Oshkosh has received
formal approval of the South Side Library Renovation
Project and the Sewer Separation Project from the Economic
Development Administration.
Work has already begun on the Sewer Separation Project
and authorizaion to proceed on the Library Renovation
Project is to be received this week.
Under the grant awards draw down on funds must entail
bills exceeding $10,000. Requisitions can be placed as
often as necessary, however, must exceed this amount.
To facilitate payment of bills in a timely manner,
it is recommended that the attached resolution be approved
by the Cor.lmon Council, which would temporarily transfer
$15,000 from General Fund Equity #310-550 into the
Construction ccount for the Renovation Project. The
transfer would be repaid from the grant award, which is
100 percent o the project cost.
There does not appear to be any problem to meet the
$10,000 limit on the Sewer Separation Project; however,
the Library Project is a relatively small project and has
already ar.d could continue to mean delaying payment of bills.
