That Section 7-51(c) of the Oshkosh �;unicipal C��de per�aining to cons�truction of buildings is hereby amended as follows: DELETE THEREFROM Cc) Streng.th of walls and partitions. All walls and partitions shall be constructed �o develop a strength and rigidity equivalent to wooden studding, not less than two (2) inches by four (4) inches, spaced not to exceed sixteen (16) inches o.c. Glhere load bearing stud s are spaced at 24 inch intervals, the roof trusses, rafters, and joists shall be centered over the studs or, in lieu thereof, solid blocking equal in size to.the studs shall be 3.nsta�led to reinforce the double plate abave. SECTIQ<� 2 o That Section 7-75 (a ) of the Qshkosh I�funicipal Code pertaining to building construction is hereby amended as iollows: - 6A - DELETE T�EREF�OM ia) Single stacks All single wall stacks or wall pipes, heads, boots, ells, tees, angles and other connections shall be made of bright tin or galvanized iron not less than 28 U.S. ga�age, and sha11 be covered with no� less than one (1") ir,ch thickness of twelve (12) 1bs. per one hundred (100) square feet of asbestos paper. Al1 studding and other woodwork facing said pipes shall be lined with metal and must be in place before inspection. An air space of not less than three-eighfis (3/8") of an � inch shall be allowed on the two sides nearest the vertical studs. All such pipes shall be braced in a proper manne�� so as not to obstruct the flow of �, ir ?;,��- :�� n� �,�; _. ,.,_ � ,_. c�:pacity -tnroughout. There shall be continuous uniform air space of not less than five-sixteenths (5/16") of an inch, which must be maintained betc��een the outer.and inner walls of all pipes and fittings of all kinds, styles, and descriptions; such pipes, heads, boots and other f ittings to be, of the style, or equal to those accepted by th� National Board of Fire Underwriters. The various members shall be so made that all joints are locked ar.d sol�ered and the several members shall be attac'�ed to each other caith slip joints. That Section 7-44 c= the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to building co: si.ruction is hereby ar;lended as follows: DELETE THEREFROM Section 7-44 Wood construction not to support masonry. No masonry construction shall be supported on wood girders or other form of wood construction.
