Dear Mr. Swanke: _ -
As a follow up to a complaint I inspected your property at 1205 W. Murdock and found a
hedge/bush located in the intersection sight triangle. This is a violation of Section 30-35 (E) (1) of
the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance, which states "No fence or hedge more than thiriy(30)
percent solid or more than thirty inches(30) high from the established sidewalk elevation may be
located within the intersection sight distance triangle, except for intersections controlled by four
way stops."
The location of the hedgeJbush presents a safety problem because it hinders the vision of
vehicles as they attempt to maneuver onto Murdock Avenue from Walnut Street. I will inspect the
property again on or about June 1, 1999 at which time the hedgelbush must be in compliance or a
violation notice can be issued. In the mean time if you have any questions, or if I can be of
