WHEREAS, UWO has requested the CYT'Y" providc a dedicated paramcdic ambulance for stand-bq, during specified hours for a�ootball Scrimmage at Titan Stadium, and WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City of Oshkosti has authorized the appropriate City officials to enter into such an agreement. NOW, TH�REFORE, it is agrced by and between the panies�to this agreement that the CITY shall provide one (1) two-persoii p�ramcdic ambulance to be present at Titan Stadium during the Football Scrimmage. The paramedic unii r:hHll be primarily responsible for providing fii•st aid and response to medical ennergencies. ]�ate of Service: Thursday', Augt�st 27 1200-1 S00 IT �S FURTH�?R ACr12E�p that UWU shall pay $110.54 per hour for the amb�rlance. Billed time will commence 30 minutes prior to the start of stand-b�' and end 30 minutes after the termin�tion of stand-by with a minimi�n� of 3 hoi�rs. Any additional hours requested c�r required to pro�ride adequate service in the sole opiriion of. the Duty Chief for the Cit�' of Oshl�osh T�ire bepartment, shall be added to the prescheduled stRnd-by hours and billed at the same hourly rate. Tf for any reason the event is cancelled, a t}uee (3) hour minimum will be chtirged if the event is not eancelled at least twelve (12) hours before the scheduled sta�rt time. Pre-event cancellations shall be made by calling (9�0) 236-5240 between 5;00 a.m, and 4:30 p.m. Monda� t}u�ough �'riday or (920) 236-5271 at other times. The CITY shall in�roice UWO Stadium Budget, c/o Susie Crustke, 800 Algoma Blvd., �shkosh, WI 54901 follawing each event, with payment to be made withiti 30 days o;f receipt of invoice. �ailure to timely pay an invoice shall be a bteach of this agreement, Al� patients requiring transport by the Oshkosh Fire Department ambulance vvill be bi�led for services rendei•cd according to the CITY's usu�l and custoraaiy pzocedures and rates for service. Consistent �r+ith the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin, each party to this coritract sgrees to assume liability for thc wrongful acts or omissions of its emplo�ees or agents while they are funetioning within the scope o� Cheir eznployment or agency, and hold the other harmless for such liability. . The Board of Regents for the Univezsity of Wisconsin System agrecs to provide liability protection for its officers, ennplo�ees and agents while acting within the scope of their employment. Stats, Similarly, the City of Oshkosh agrees to hold harmless the Uni�ersity, and all its officcrs, employees and agents from any and all liability, including claims, demands, losses, costs, damagcs and e�penses of every kind and description ox damages to persons or property arising out of or in connection with or occuz�ing during the course of this agreement, rvhere suc� liability is founded upon or grows out of the acts or omissions of emploqees, officers, or agents of the City of Oshkosh while acting �vithin the scope of their employment where protection is Affoi•ded by ss: 893.80 and 895,46(1) Wis.
