This (etter is to express our interest in and offer a proposal for design services for the
renovation and rebuilding of the Pollock Pool facility.
� Our earlier letter dated Augus6 28, 197$ outlined ovr fisms qualifications ond listed
several references, A copy of this letter is attached. We encourage you to check
ovr references.
This proposal fo� design and construction supervision services is bosed on tF�e work
recommended to be done in our report to the City of Oshkosh dated November 10, 1978.
The work recommended is generally as follows:
1. Remove the main pool ond the attached filter room,
chlorine house and diving Platform.
z. Replace the items in 1 qbove with all new construction
on proper soil. Ti�e piping would be placed in tunnefs
and o new fi Iter pnd chlorine room provided.
3. New supply p'sping would be provided to the parimetec
of the beginners pool and a new main drain constr�cted,

The walls and floor of the beginners pool would be renovated
by patching the concrete and resealing the cracks ond joints.
Replace the decks where removed for the above construction.
Provide all new pool mechanical equipment and piping.
We propose a fee of seven percent (7%) of Yhe demolition, re�ovation and construction
costs. The fee includes our work to provide the schematic design, construction drawings,
biddingand construction supervision for a{l the work. The schematic design effort
for this project may be somewhat lessened because the scope of the project is fairly
well determined. However, we propose to investigate several outdoorpools in this
orea of the Stote. We will review whot was designed and observe how The designs
performed. This effort should help assure a proctiwl and worthwhile design. Also,
the construction supervision phase will require o disproportionately large number of
hours becouse of the renovation type of work involved ond because pool construction
must adhere closely to the design.
Reimburxible expenses will indude firavel, printing and copying costs, tolf telephone
chorges and state fees, We generally work with the Ameritan (nstitute of ArchiYects
contract documenh.
