Al1 rules and rec�tlations shall be in effect only during the official
navigation seasons as established by ihe United States Anrnl Corps of
F�igineers anci the DepartmEnt of Natural Resources.

Boats are to be stored, pzsk� or tied down only in designate3 area,.
Boats, trailers, or other appurtenarit gear located not within the
designated area are subject to remo�ral with reiroval and storage costs
to be paid by the awnex. O�mex's of such ern�i�Znent are responsible
for repair costs to city p�-opPSLy _f daR�age results azising out of
or incurred in the process or" storiny, parking or securing saili�oats.

(1) All boats which are aasign�l a specific lacation for the season
must be located withir: their designated space. All hoats wi.`hin

(G) APPLICATiODI
All boats lccated within the designate.3 area imist be registered annually
with the Oshkosh Parks De�nt and zn aporopriate pe�nit issued.
Applications for sailboat storage, dinghy docks, boat hoists, and imoring
area sha11 contain the follaainq information, and applicants shall
canply with the following rrx;,;renFnt.s:
(7.) Application shall contain n��, a3dress and telephone rnmibex of
the owner.
(2) 2ype of boat, size, color, Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources registration nwnt�x and serial rnm�r of boat.
(3) Club affiliation (if any) and purpo�e of tx�at: (a) jurLior,
(b) r�cinq, (c) pleasure.
(4) Boat oomers must sign disclaimPS of responsibility.for liability.
(5) An annual filing fee of $10.00 will be requirecl prior to any bc�t
receiving a per.nit.
(6) No pezmit may tr_ transferred, assignecl, or sublet without pri_or
permission fran the City of Oshkosh. Persons who vacate s��ces
or chang2 b�ats without autharizsation orill lose the assiynecl
sp�ce 3nd pei-nit.

(8) A separate fee may be estahli:.hed for use of any of the above
facilities with rates establishec? by the De�t�nent of Parks with
appraval of the C,�xRron Council. The receipts fran such fees
shall be placecl in a separate account and used for the purPose
of future improv�nents.
(H) TRAIQSIENC DQ^.K�iG
All other piers, docks and boat slips located in Miller's Bay adjacent
to Menoninee Park sl-a1Z be use3 for the exclusive use of transiet
�c�aters. Persons using these facilities shall not be allaaerl tc� da-k
in the area �re than 18 tAtal hours in any 48 hour period and not irore
t1�n 18 consecutive hours at any time.

(T) PRIORIT'Y QF ASSIGtu^�.rJrJV'P
Permits for assicrrm�ent shall be valid only for one (1) calerr_7ar year.
The I��str�nt shaa.l establish a procrxlure for issuing permits.

SF�C.'PZON 3. That Section 19-8 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertain-ing to
Yenal_ties for violations of the Park U_-dinance is hereby created to read as follows
