'15 tons-more) than if we accept the next low bid. • 380.27 (low bid) x 115 tons 3,+r 731.05 407.�+0 (next 1ow bid) x 100 tons 0,�00 Ot'rier considerations are: 1) cost of freight, the low bidder will pass on any freight increases at time of ordering, where as the next low bidder had no freight escalator clause in their bid. 2) by accepting the second lowest bid, we would be using granulated and powdered carbon from the same vendor, which would make for a consistent treat�ent program.
