�� 10 RESOLUTION
PURPOSE: INITIAL RESOLUTION - CONCRETE PAVING
INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as follows:
1. The Common Council hereby declares its intention to exercise its power
under Section 66.60 of the Wisconsin Statutes to levy special assessments upon
property within the following descriUed areas for benefits conferred upon such
property by improving the following named streets, said public improvement to
include the following:

2. Said improvements shall consist of concrete paving as described above
and appurtenant work with concrete curb and gutter on both sides of the street
at a grade heretofore established by special ordinance of the City of Oshkosh.
3. Before such improvements are made, the Board of Public Works is directed
to caus= water and sewer service pipes to be laid in said streets from the mains
to the curb line of each lot fronting on the said streets and to keep an accurate
account of the expense incurred in front of each lot and report the same to the
Comptroller who shall cause the amount charged to each lot to be entered on the
tax roll as a special tax against said road, provided, however, that the Board
of Pub�ic Works shall not cause such laterals to be so laid for any particular
lot, or parcel where, in the opinion of the Board of Public Works, it would be
impractical to do so.
4. The total amount assessed against such district shall not exceed the
total cost of the improvements and the amount assessed against any parcel shall
not be greater than the benefits accrued thereto from said improvements.

of Section 25-83 thru 25-89 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code.

Upon completion of such report, the Board o£ Public Works is directed to
file a copy thereof in the City Clerk's Office for public inspection.
7. Upon receiving the report of the Board of Public Works, the City C1erk
is directed to give notice of a public hearing on such reports as specified in
Section 66.60 (7) of the Wisconsin Statutes. The hearing shall be held by the
Board of Public Works at the Council Chambers in the City H211 at a time set by
the Clerk in accordance with Section 66.60 (7) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
8. The Wisconsin Public Service Corporation of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is
hereby reGuired to install gas mains in said street and service laterals at such
intervals as the Board of Public Works shall direct, said work to be completed
pricr to the improve��nt of the said street, the City Clerk shall forward a
certified copy o� this resolutlon to said corporation forthwith.
9. The F>oard of Public Wor'.cs and the pro;er ci±y officials shall do a11
things necessary so as to complete the installai.ion of storm sewers in said
street pri.or to the improve�ents thereof, if neeessary.
10. The installation of sald s[reet improvements shall be accomplished
according to the provisioas of Section 25-3 thru 25-11 of the Oshkosh 2funicipal
Code.
