The present weed cutting assessment is $10.00/hour for any
type of weed cutting,
I propose a new schedule for various types of weed cutting
as follows:
1. Labor with scythe $8.50/hour
2. Labor with weed-eater $9.50/hour
3, Labor with rotary mower $9.50/hour
4. Equipment operater I
with tractor and
flail mower $23.50/hour
The rate for no, 1 is the hourly rate for te labor plus fxinge
benefits. The rates for nos. 2 and 3 are the hourly rates for the
labor plus fringe benefits and $1o00/hour for equipment use, The
rate for no. 4 is again the hourly rate for equipment operator I
plus fringe benefits and equipment useo In this case the equipment
costs are much higher as the tractor and flail mower replacement cost
is approximately $19000 to $20000.
There is no administrative cost figured in the above rates.
