Home My WebLink About30909 / 80-D1September�":, 1980 # 8D-2 RESOLUTION PU�PuSE: �cT LEVY REQUIREMENTS INITIATE�� 5Y: SCHOOL BOARD 4inErc=�,S, Tne Board of Education of the Qshkosh Area SchooT District has heretofore prePared, recommended and submitted to the Common Council and the Town Chairmen o� the Towns of Algoma, Black 41o1f, Nekimi, Qshkosh, lliica, and Uinland, a budget fc� the City of Oshkosh and for the area attached to the City of Oshkosfi ior school purposes for the years 1980-1981, in accordance with the statutes ar.d ordinances in such case made and provided; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Oshkosh, 4liscortsin, at 8:00 P.M., August 21, 1980, pursuant to a duly pu6lished notice of said hearing, a summary of such budaet havina been duly pub�ished in the official city newspaper at least fifteen (15) days prior to the time of sucn fiearing; and WHEREAS, the Common Council and the Town Chairmen convenad �t a Specia1 Meeting duiy not�ced and called for the purpose of considerin; said budget and adopting sa,e and fixing and.adopting a tax levy based thereon and at said Special Mee:�ng adopted a resolution providing and adopting said budget for the years 198C-i?31, after making such changes therein as were approv��', by the proper nur�er of votes, and thereupon directed the proper City 0'r-:c•ials to prepare th�s resolution; and WHEREAS, the Coaanon Council of the Ci.ty of Oshkosh and the Town Chairmen having adopted said bud,yet for the Ci.t,y of Oshkosh and the area attached to the said Czty fer schoil purpcses cn3y for tne years i9H0-1981 no:r desire to levy the necessary taxes and provide the monies required by said budget.
