BIDS FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION IMPROVEMENTS TO CITY HAIL,
CEAPE AVENUE FIRE STATION AND THE STREET DEPARTMENT
BUILDING
INITIATED BY: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION OF PLANNING E RESEARCH
WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has heretofore advertized for bids for
various energy conservation improvement; and
WHEREAS, upon the opening and tabulation of bids at 10:00 A.M. on
October 7, 1980, it appears that the following are the lowest and most
advantages bids:

that tne said bids are Fe;eby accepted contigent upor, cG,'v anc HUG �pp�cva� and,
the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
appropriate agreements for the purpose of same, all accordina to plans, specifications,
and bid on file, rtronies for this project are available from grants received frcan the
United States Economic Development Administration ($400,000); HUD and CDBG
($41,865 for Ceape Avenue Fire Station); and $48,135 from the 1980 Capital Improvement
Program and $10,000 from the 1980 City Operating Budget for a total of $500,000 in
available funds.

were publicly opened and read aloud at 10:01 A.M., 7 October 1980,
at City of Oshkosh City Hall, and this letter will act as the
minutes of that bid opening.
Present at this opening, in addition to approximately 12 interested
bidders, were yourself, Bob Yarbro, Dick Kempinger and Harold
Kargus - Deputy Chief Clerk.
The funds available for construction purposes were read aloud by
