A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF TdE CITY OF OSH[COSH AI�NDING SECfION 6-3 OF TiiE OSHICOSH
MUNZCIP?.L CODE PERTAINING TO DOG A.*ID CAT LICENSE FEES.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1, That Section 6-3 of the dshkosh �SUnicipal Code pertaining to
dog and cat license fees is hereby amended to tead ae--foll�ws:�_
SECTION 6-3 LICENSE; EEES.
Such awner of a dog or cat shall pay the City Treasurer prior to .iarch lst
of each year, the sum of Three Dollars ($3.00} for each dog or cat, except
that the fee shall be $5.00 for each unneutered male dog or unspayed female
dog. In the event such license fee is not timely paid, an additional £ee of
Five Tiollars (�5.00) shall be assessed and collected.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and date of publication.

NOTICE TO ALL WINN-EBAGO COUt:TY DOG Ok'PiERS ��
to Section 174.052, Wisconsin Statutes, nctice is
to all ov:ners of dogs in Winnebago County th2t rabies
and dog licenses are required under tt� statutes.
Vaccination by a veterinarian against rabies of all dogs is
required (Section 95.21 (2) vritnin 30 aays after the dog reaches
4 mor.ths of age anZ revaccinated k�ithin one year after the initial
vaccination. Older vaccinated dogs must be re-vaccinated when che
certi£icate expires or kithin 3 years of the previcus vaccinaLion.
Certificates o£ current vaccination mLSt be presented when obtaining
dog licenses. Fresent law exempts presentation of proo£ o£ vaccination
in municipalities r:here no local ordinance demands such proof.
All dogs 5 montns of age or older require a license. The minimum
license £ee for neutered males or spayed female is $ 2, upor
presentation of evidence attesting to tne same, and $ S for an
unneutered male or unspayed female dog. These minimums rr.ay be
supplemer.ted by local municipal action. Kennel licenses have been
raised to $ 25.
PENALTIES
A late fee of $ 5 shall be assessed the owner of each dog 5
mcnths of age or over r:ho fails to obtain a dog license by April 1.
An owner vfho £ails to have a dog vaccinated against rabies as
required by statute may be required to for£eit not less than $ 50
nor more $ 1C00.
1981 dcg licenses can be obtained from your �local treasurer
beginning January 2, 1981.
