Re: Prevailing Wage Rates and Hours of Labor for Iicipal Public Works
Construction Projects Subject to ss. 66.293(3), Wis. S[ats.
Dear Mr. Marks:
On August 4, 1980, this department issued a special order which exempted your
municipality from applying to this department for prevailing wage rate
determinations as required by ss. 66.293(3), Wis. Stats.
This office advised you that it would periodically update the determination
included with that special order. The enclosed determination should be compared
with the one which your municipality is currently utilizing in [he solicitation
of bids for [hose projects subject to ss. 66.293(3), Wis. Stats. The wage ra[e
and hours of labor specified for each trade or occupa[ion on your current
determination must meet, or exceed, the wage rate and hours of labor specified
on [he enclosed determination.
Please advise this office if you are in need of a wage ra[e for any trade or
occupation not specified on the enclosed determination.
The original determination, as issued on August 4, 1980, and any amendments or
modifications made thereto, must be properly adopted by your municipali[y and
incorporated into, and made a part of, a11 contrac[s which are awarded for
projects subjec[ to ss. 66.293(3), Wis. S[a[s.
If you have any questions concerning this mat[er, please write or call me
