HomeMy WebLinkAbout31252 / 81-16APRIL 2 1981 #16 RESOLUTION PURPOSE: AWARD TENNIS COURT CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT 81-03 INITIATED BY: PARKS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has heretofore advertised for bids for the construction of a double tennis court for Westhaven Park II and the reconstruc- tion of five tennis courts at Menominee Park; and WHEREAS, upon the opening and tabluation of bids, it appears that the foilowing are the lowest and most advantageous bids: BADGER HIGHWAYS Menasha, WI PACKERLAND FENCE CO Manitowoc, WI STREETS 8 ROADS CONST Waukesha, WI AMERICAN FENCE CO Stevens Point, WI Base Bid for Construction of Two (2) Tennis Courts - Westhaven Park II Base Bid for Fencing of Two (2) Tennis Courts - Westhaven Park il S 13,562.00 Total Award $ 4,921.00 Total Award Base Bid for Reconstruction of $ 16,960.00 Five (5) Tennis Courts - Menominee Total Award Park Alternate Bid for Fencing of Five $ 9,690.00 (5) Tennis Courts - Menominee Park Total Award NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the said bids are hereby accepted and the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into appropriate agreements for the purpose of same, all accord- ing to plans, specifications, and bids on file. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated trom Account No. 361-999, Park Imorovement 8 Acquisition - Other Expendi- tures. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to transfer the above said amounts to Account 361-550, Park Improvement 8 Acquisition, Fund Equity, upon receipt of the 1981 Bond funds; said money is tempor- arily transferred from 1980 Rehabilitation of Existing Park Facilities (Beach house Rehabltation).
