Call in a verbal proposal and then follow it up with a written proposal on your letter- head in breakdown form. We need your verbal quote by Tuesday May 26, 1981 if possible. Provide 1-1/2" rigid insulation, R-8, with wood or metal furring. Cover with 1/2" 15 min. fire rated drywall. Tape all joints and paint to match existing. Paint pipe space drywall to match boot room. In pipe space at second floor, at east wall behind toilet rooms, install an entire wall from floor up to existing ducts. Terminate all edges with a metal edge. We did not talk about this in the field but the end of the insulation, at the sides and at the top must be capped with material, like a 2 x 2 or 1/2 drywall to give the 15 min. rated covering over the insulation. In the boot room at the second floor, at the east and south walls, install from floor up to structure above. Remove and reinstall ceiling as necessary. Include cost of moving lockers away from east wall far enough to work on the wall. Put lockers back in place when job is complete. Where built-in cabinets occur on the east and south walls, start the new work above the cabinets. On the east wall at the north end by the door to the pipe chase, cut the insula- tion back to 3/4" thick so the new wall will not interfere with the existing door hardware. Apply new base to match existing over the new wall at the east where the new wall starts at the floor. . - ' , Page 2 22 May 1981 File 8006 Fluor Bros. The insulation� drywall and paint will be applied to the area back of the present built-in lockers.
