R. 5> Box 351D Appleton, WI 54911 PURPOSE: Provide a 1-1/2 HP air compressor for the Johnson Control system at Oshkosh City Hall. Include all power wiring as required. (See attached Change Order) BE IT FURTHER R:SOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the aforementioned Change Order is hereby approved; a copy of which is attached to this resolution. Two concern extra work at the one involvea an extension of completion time. ITEM NO. 1- City Hall ��-2 which need your City Hall eite and It has been determined that the existing pneumatic temperature control compressor system does not have enough capacity to handle the extra air required for the added HVAC control. The existinq compressor ie a 1/4 HP unit. A 1-1/2 HP compreasor is required at an added cost of $2,670.00. Your concurrence is requested. ITEM NO. 2- Entire Project, Primarily City Hall Fluor Bros. Construction Company has requested an extension of the Contract Completion date by four (4) weeks. The current date of July 23, 1981 would then be August 20, 1981. Encloaed is a copy of Fluor Bros.' June 10, 1981 letter making the request which is self-explanatory. We were asked by Fluor to consider approvina the use of tha thinner insulated panel, but declined aince the entire project is enerqy coneervation. Your concurrence is requested. ITEM NO. 3- City Hall G-s The City of Oshkosh is considering changinq an additional 20 windows on the south side of City Hall. As with the original ' contract window �uork, the coneideration is for the conservation o! enerqy. r Page 2 30 June 1981 File No. 8006 Mr. Qodqe �� 1 8J The existinq windows are single glazed wood double hung, two aindows per masonry opening. By installing one thermal broken with insulatinq glass double hunq aluminum window with ineulation panels filling the balance of the openinq, a considerable energy savings will occur. The additional cost for this work is $29,810.00 which is accep- table to the Owner. If this work is autho;ized, the completion time will have to bs extended eleven (11) weeks from the date of authorization. Will you please consider this request and authorize a chanqe order to add the work to Fluor Bros.' Contract for General Conatruction Work. An early reaponse will be appreciatefl.
