SECTION 3• This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and date of publication. SECTION 4. Although the Department finds this proposed annexation not against the public interest, it is our opinion that the annexation should be modified to include the entire lot, not just the front portion and thereby leaving the remainder in the Town. Chandler L. McKelvey Secretary Although the annexation of the entire lot divides the Town, it does not create a"town island" as described in s. 66.021(15). This issue has been discussed previously with our legal counsel in the Attorney General's office.
