PURPGSE: PURCHASE GF LAND FOR SOUTHWtST iND'USTRIAL Pl1RK
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATIGN
WNEREAS, the City of Oslikosh has a need for additional land in the
Southwest Industriai Park, and
WHEREAS, Castle Corporation nas indicated a wiilingness to seil approx-
imately 125 acres to be determined by survey at a purchase price of $6,000
per acre with $250,000 down and the balance to bear interest at 7°i„ on a 10-
year Land Centract providing that the City will receive clear title to any
land it would selt prior to the termination of the Land Contract upon paying
the additional two-thirds per acre for said land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Osh-
kosh that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into an appropriate Land Contract encompassing the above-described
conditions with Castle Corporation. .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that money for this purpose is hereby appropriated
from Account No. 775-107, Southwest Industrial Park, Land Account.
