RESOLUTION TO DISPOSE OF BOYD SCHOOL
Introduced by Mayor Kutchera
WHEREAS, the Oshkosh Area Sctiool District Board of Education on
D2cenber 22, 1981, did declare that the Boyd Scnool property is no longer
needed by the Oshkosh Area School District and rzquests that the Fiscal
Board dispose of said property, and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes 120.49 provides for aforesaid determination
of appropriate use and disposal of school property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fiscal Control Board for the
Qshkosh Area School District will sell the Bo�d School property and the
proceeds less sale expenses be returned to the Oshkosh Area S�hool Discrict
to be placed in the statutory sinking fund as provided by Wisconsin Statutes
Section 120.56, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Oshkosh administration advertise,
receive, open and analyze sealed bids for the sale of Boyd School with the
following bid specifications:
1. Bids will be compared on a present value basis with princi-
pal and interest payments of land contracts discounted at
15 per cent per annum.
2. Land Contract bids shall have a minimum down payment of
$15,000 and a maximum term of ten years.
3. Minimum cash bid or.present value of land contract shall
be $93,500.

Co�. Carpenter reported on attendance at the CESA Ii8 meeting and asked for direc-
tion on participation in future meetin�s. The board agreed tha[ as their
representative he should represent the board as he sees fit on policy issues,
but he was asked not to get the board [ied up in any programs.

BE IT RESOLVID, that the Oshkosh Area School District Board of Education approve
the appointments, leaves of absence, retirement, resignation, and salary schedule
as filed with the Secretary of the Board of Education on December 22, 1981, in
accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Education. unanimovs
upon roll call.

BE IT RESOLVID, that the Oshkosh Area School District Soard of Education approve
the foreign language trip to Mexico within the guidelines of the Rules, Regulations
and Policies of the Board of Education, and as filed with the Secretary of the Board.
Voting "YES" Comms. Carpenter, Collins, Davis, Diercks, Hill
Voting "NO" Comm. Thompson

WHEREAS, the Oshkosh Area School District is ves[ed with the authority to determine
the appropriate use of school property pursuant to Section 120.49, Wisconsin
Statutes, and
WHEREAS, Section 120.49, Wisconsin Statutes, also requires Fiscal Board approval
for the sale of any school buiiding,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVID, that [he Oshkosh Area School District Board of Education

School District and requests that the Fiscal Board dispose of said property,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVID, that the proceeds from the sale of the Boyd School property
be returned to the Oshkosh Area School Distric[ to be placed in the statutory
sinking fund (Section 120.56) (Wisconsin Statutes).
