BE IT RESOLVED by the Co�on Council of the City of Oshkosh as fo11uu9=
1. The Co�on GounciI, heseby declares its intention to exercise its power
under Section 66.60 of Che Wisconsin Statutes to levy special assessments upon
propertp vithin the fo2locJing described areas for benefits.conferred upon such
property by improving the followiag named streets, said public improvement to
include the follocriag:

2. Said improvements shall consist of asphalt paving as described above
and appurtenant work with concrete curb and gutter on both sides of the street
at a grade heretofore established by special ordinance of the City of Oshkosh.
3. Befoze such i.mprovements are.made, the Board of Public Works is directed
to cause water and sewer service pipes to be laid in said streets from the mains
to the curb line of each lot fronting on the said streets and to keep an accnrate
accouat of the e�cpense incurred in front of each lot and report the same to tfie
Comptroller who shall cause the amount charged to each lot to be entered on the
tas roll as a special tax agai.nst said road, provided, however, that the Board
of Public Works sha11 not cause such laterals to be so laid for any particular
lot, or parcel where, in the opiIIion of the Board of Public Works, it would be
impractical to do so.
4. The [otal amount assessed against such district shall not e�cceed the
total cost of the improvements and the amouat assessed againsC any parcel shall
not be greater than the benefiCS accrued thereto from said improvema¢ts.
5. The assessments against any paxcel may be paid according to [fie provisions
of Sectioa v-`s3 turu 25-$9 of tne ushkostt Municipal Code.
6. The Board of Public Works is directed to prepare a report consisting of:
(a) Final plans and specifications for said improvements.
(b) An estimate of the entire cost of the improveaeats and laterals.
(c) An estimate as to each parcel of propertq within the assess-
ment district of:
(1) The assessment of benefits to be levied for eacfi improvement.
(2) The damages to be awarded for property taken or damages by each
improvement.
(3) The net amount of benefits over damages or of damages over
benefits for each improvement.

Upon completion of such report, the Board of Yublic Works is directed to
file a copy thereof in the City Clerk's Office for public inspection.
7. Upon zeceiving the ieport of the Board of Public Works, the City Clerk
is directed to give notice of a public hearing on such reports as specified in
Section b6.60(7) of the Wisconsin Statutes. The hearing shall be held by the
Board of Public Works at the Council Chambers in the City Hall ac a time set by
the Clerk ia eccordance with Section 66.60(7) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
$. The installatian of said street 3mprovements shall be accomplisl�ed
according to the provisions o£ Section 25-3 thru 25-11 of the Oshkosh Muaicipal
Code.
