April 1, 1982 PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: �� 1 FINAL RESOLUTION - CONCRETE PAVING DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh held a public hearing on the lst day of April, 1982, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing all inter- ested persons concerning the preliminary resolutions and reports of the the City Ptanager (Board of Public SJorks) on the proposed improvements consisting of the concrete paving with concret2 curb and g�itter and a�purtenant work pur- suant to resolution adopted on Feb. 18, 1981, by the Oshkosh Common Council of the following named streets: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. Knapp Street from 8 feet north of West 20th Avenue to 7 feet south of West 20th Avenue Fabry Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue Georgia Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue McCurdy Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue Delaware Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue Hubbard Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue Ohio Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue Simpson Street from West 20th Avenue to 7 feet north of West 20th Avenue Michigan Street from West 20th Avenue to 9 feet north of West 20th Avenue Iowa Street from West 20th Avenue to 11 feet north of West 20th Avenue Montana Street from 12 feet north of West 20th Avenue to 12 feet south of West 20th Avenue Minnesota Street from 12 feet north of West 20th Avenue to 12 feet south of West 20th Avenue Arizona Street from West 20th Avenue to 12 feet north of West 20th Avenue - lA - �r � April 1, 1982 �� 1 Final Resolution re Concrete Paving NOW,�THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co�on Council of the City of Oshkosh as follows: 1. That the report of the City Manager, acting as the Board of Public Works, pertaining to the construction of the above described public improve-- nents, including plans and specifications therefor, is hereby adopted and approved with the following modifications: a. Delete sewer & water lateral at Lot 15, Blk 13, Powers 6 Smith Add. (438 W. 20th) - upon owner's request b- Delete sewer & water lateral at Lot 14, Blk 3, Smith Grove Land Co's Plat (312 W. 20th) - upon owner's request 2. That the action of the City Manager in advertising for bids and to carry out the wor:c of such improvements in accordance with the report of the City Pfanager and in accordance with the said resolutions heretofore adopted, is hereby approved, ratified and confixmed. 3. That payment for said improvements be made by assessing the cost of the property benefits as indicated in said report, except as modified herein. ' 4. That the benefits and damages shown on the report as modified are true and correct and are hereby confirmed. - 5. That the assessments for all projects included in said report are hereby combined as a single assessment but any interested property owner shall be entitled to object to each assessment separately or both assessments jointly for any purpose or purposes. 6. That the assessments may be paid in cash, or in installments pursuant to Section 25-83 and 25-89 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code. Said deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of Ten percent (10%) per annum on the unpaid balance. The City Clerk shall publish an installment assessment notice in accordance with Section 66.54(7)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes for 1980 in the official newspaper of the City. 7. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution in the official newspaper of the City, the OSHKOSH DAILY NORTHWESTERN. $.
