Home My WebLink About31843 / 82-17rr�y 6, i9a2 il 17 R�SOLUTION PURPOSE: INITIAL RESOLUTION - 1982 SEALCOATING PROGRAM INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PIJBLIC WORKS BE IT RF.SOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the 1982 Sealcoating Program for the city streets, as shown on the attached list, is hereby approved. BE IT I'URTHER RESOLVED that the abutting and benefited property be charged for the cost of such work as a special. charge for current services under Section 65.f�0(6) of the Wisconsin Statutes but not mor� than Fif�y-eight cents (S8¢) per fr.ont foot for streets and Twenty-nine Cents (29�) per tront foot for alleys. BE IT FURTEIER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to schedule public heazings before the Common Council concerning this matter and shall publish a notice of said hearings in the official City newspaner at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of said hearings. A copy of such notices shall be mailed to every interested person whose post office address is l:nowct or can, with reasenable diligence, be ascer- tained at least ten (10) days before the hearings. Such notice shall specify that on a certain date hearings will be held by the Co;omon Council as to whethe: the service in question shall be perforriled at the cost of the property oc�ner, but at a cost of not more than Fifty-eight cents (58¢) per front foot for streets and 1�aenty-nine cents (29R�) per front foot for alleys. - 17 - .
