If this had occurred as planned, flow monitoring of the north side vould have been completed in the fall of 1981, and flow monitoring of the south side Would have been completed in the early spring of 82. A total of 8 rainfall events is required to fully monitor both sides. To date, the combination of an exceptionally dry fall '81 period, and an extended uinter '82 period, has produced only 5 of the required events. While rainfall quantities have been close to normal, these quantities have resulted from the effect of several large storms, and from several storms that exhibited characteris- tics Which were not well suited for production of f1oN monitoring data. , ti 5tate of Wisconsin June 16, 1982 Mr. Converse Marks City Clerk P.O.
