Stats., provides that the annexation of lands to cities and villages within a county having a population of 50,000 or more shall be reviewed by the Department of Development in order to determine if the proposed annexation is against the public interest. The proposed annexation from the Town of Algoma to the City of Oshkosh (see attached description and map) must be reviewed pursuant to the Statute. To assist us in carrying out this responsibility, we would appreciate receiving from you any pertinent data or information that would indicate whether or not the annexation is against the public interest.
