PURPOSE: DETERMINATION OF BOUNDARIES AND APPROVAL OF REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE ALGOMA/CHIIKCH REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA I11

PLAN COMMISSION RECOPASENDATION: 6-0
WtIEREAS, the following desciibed area appears to be blighCed and in '
need of redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has approved the boundaries of the re-
development area and instructed the City to prepare a redevelopment plan
putsuant to Section 66.43 of the Wisconsin Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Co�ission has adopted the redevelopment plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co�on Cauncil of the City of
Oshkosh that the following described area is designated as the Algoma/Church
Redevelopment Project Area lil and is hereby declared to be blighted and in
need oE redevelopment:
A parcel of land in Block G., Leach's Map of 1894, Morgan Replat,
W. W. Wright's 2nd Addition of Block B& C and W. W. Wright's
4th Addition to Block g, all in the 7th Ward, City of Oshkosh,
Winnebago County, State of Wisconsin, described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Jackson Street and Algoma
Boulevard, thence north along the east line of Jackson Street
110.02 feet, thence S. 88°06' E. 31.00 feet, thence south 52°23'
E. 140.65 feet to the northwesterly line of Lot 6, W. W. Wright's
4th Addition to Block G, then N. 18°OS' E. along the southeasterly
line of Lot 20, Leach's Map Block G to the northeast corner of
said Lot 20, thence S. 57°43' E. 40.00 feet, thence N. 29°45' E.
2i6.68 feet to the soutnwesterly line of Cnurctt Avenue, thence
easterly along the southerly line of Church Avenue to the north-
westerly line of Lot 19 of Leach's Map, Block G, thence south-
westerly along the noYthwesterly line of said Lot 19 to the south-
westerly line of said Lot 19, thence southeasterly along the
southwesterly line of Lot 19 to the northwesterly line of Lot 13,
Leach's Map, Block G, thence southwesterly along the northwesterly
line of said Lot 13, 15.53 feet, thence southeasterly parallel to
the southwesterly line of Lot 13 to the sou[heasterly line of said
Lot 13, thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line of Lot
13 to the mosC southerly corner of Lot 13, thence southeasterly
along southwesterly lines of Lot 11 and Lot 10, Leach's Map,
Block G, to the most southerly corner of said Lot 10, thence

northeasterly along the northeasterly line of said Lot 10, 13
feet, thence southeasterly parallel to the northeasterly line of
vacated Ivy Place to the westerly line of Division Street, thence
southwesterly alang the weaterly line of Division Street to the
most sontherly corner of Lot 4, W. W. Wright's 2nd Addition,
Block B, thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of
said Lot 4 to the southwest corner of said Lot 4, thence north°
easterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot 4, 26 feet,
thence northeasterly to a point on the northwesterly line of Lot
18, Leach's Map, Block G, that is 200 feet nortiieasterly of
Algoma Boulevard, thence southwesterly 200 feet along the north—
westerly l�ne of said Lot 18 to the northeasterly line of Algoma �
Boulevard, thence northwesterly along the northerly line of
Algoma Boulevard to the point of beginning;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the project area boundaries of the area
designated as the Algoma/Church Redevelopment Project Area �1 are hereby
approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the redevelopment plan for the Algoma/
Church Redevelopment Project Area /I1, as prepared by ihe City and adopted
by the Plan Co�ission, is hereby approved.
