HomeMy WebLinkAbout32136 / 82-01October 21, 1982 lll RESOLUTION PURPOSE: FZNAL RESOLUTION - SANITARY SEWER, WATER MAIN, STORM SEWER AND GRADE 6 GRAVEL INITZATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORRS WHEREAS, the Co�on Council of the City of Oshkosh held a public hearing on the 21st day of October, 1982, at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of hearing all interested persons concern3ng the preliminary resolution and report of the " City Manager (Board of Public Works) on the proposed improvements consisting --- of sanitary sever, water main, stoxm sewer and grade and gravel, pursuant to the initial resolutioa adopted August 5, 1982, by the Oshknsh Co�or. Cauncil of the follaving aamed strests: A. SANITARY SEWER 6 Wi1TER MAIN South Washburn Street -£rom vacated Badger Avenue to Ripon Road (S.T.H. 44) Ripon Road (S.T.H. 44) - from South Washburn Street to 3100 feet southwest of South Washburn Street B. SANITARY SEWER, STORM SEWER, WATER MAIN, GRADE 6 GRAVEL Un-named Street - from vacated Badger Avenue extended to Ripon Road (S.T.H. 44) ' C. WATER MAIN ONLY Washburn Road - from S.T.H. 44 to Waukau Avenue Waukau Avenue - from Washburn Road to Poberezny Road NOW, TAEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co�on Couacil of the City of Oshkosh as follows: 1. That the report of the City Manager, acting as the Board of Public Works, pertaining to the construction of the a6ove described public improve- ments, including plans and specifications therefor, is hereby adopted and approved witfi the following modifications: a. b. c. ;�:. � �' October 21, 1982 lil Cont'd. 2. T[zat Che action of the City Manager in advertising for bids and to carry out the work of such improvements in accordance with the report of the City Manager and in accazdance with the said zesolution heretofoze ad.opted, is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed. 3. That payment for said improvemeats be made by assessing the cost of the property benefited as indicated in said report, except as modified hereia. 4. That benefits and damages shown on the report as modified are true and corxect and are hexeby confiimed. 5. That tiie assessmeats for all projecta included in said report are hereby combined as a single assessment but any interested properCy oFroer shall be entitled to object to each assessment separately or both asse.ssme-r�ts jolntly for any putpose ar purposes, fi. T:�at t::°_ assessmeut� may be paid in cash, or in inetallmenYS puxsuaut to Section ti-83 thru ZS-84 of tne Os[iicosn Municipal Code, said deierred payments to bear interest at the rate of ten percent (10%) per annum on the unpaid balance. The City Clerk shall publish an installment assessment notice in accc�rdance vith Section 66.54(i)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes for 1980 in tHe official newspaper of the City. 7. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution in the OSHROSH DAILY NORTHWESTERN, the official newspaper of the City. 8. The City Clerk is furtfier directed to mail a copy of this resolution to every property owner whose name appears on the assessment roll whose post office address is '�nown or can with reasonab3e diligence be ascertained.
