HomeMy WebLinkAbout32751 / 84-10February 16, 1984 (CARRIED LOST PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: LAID OVER AWARD GRAND OPERA HOUSE CONTRACT GRAND OPERA HOUSE BOARD # 10 RESOLUTION WITHDRAWN ) WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has entered into an Owner-Architect Agreement with Yarbro-Kempinger Architects, Inc. and Pfaller Herbst Associates, Inc. for the architectural work in conjunction with the rehabilitation of the Grand Opera House, and WHEREAS, in conjunction with said project the City has purchased the building adjacent to the Grand Opera House building as an adjunct to the 6rand Opera House project, and WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to have the same architects working on both the annex and the Grand Opera House, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to waive bids and enter into the attached agreement with Yarbro-Kempinger and Pfailer Herbst Associates, Inc. for the architectural design services for the Grand Opera House annex. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to pay the contract price of $29,113.00 to the Yarbro-Kempinger Archi- tects, Inc. and Pfaller Herbst Associates, Inc. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from Account No.316-105 - Grand Opera House Buildings. SUBMITTED BY APPROVED\� � .�r Resolution #10 F � ,�� ARCHITECT'S COPY OWNER - ARCHITECT AGREEMENT This AGREEMENT is made as of the lOth day of JANUARY in the year NINETEEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FOUR between: The Owner: THE CITY OF OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN through the Grand Opera House Board and The Architect: YAP.SP.O-KED?PINGER ARCHITECTS, INC. and PFALLER HERBST ASSOCIATES, INC. For the Following project: Architectural Design Services for entrances, vestibule, ticket sales facility, lobby, toilet rooms and Control Booth for the Grand Opera House Annex, 106 High Avenue, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Basic Compensation will be in accordance with the following: ITEM N0. 1 A. The preparation of the petition to DILHR for rule modification to change the building classification from mer- cantile to assembly hall though the building structure does not comply with that required for assembly halls B, Measure the building, all floors plus the roof and site C. Replace second floor windows, north and south walls D.
