Home My WebLink About33249 / 85-06March 21, 1985 #6 RESOLUTION (CARRIED PURPOSE: LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) APPROVE AMENDMENT TO PROJECT PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICT NO. 3 INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: APPROVED 8-0 WHEREAS, pursuant to State Statute 66.46, the City of Oshkosh has created Tax Incremental District No. 3, Southwest Industrial Park and approved a Project Plan for TID �3; and WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh Plan Commission has prepared and adopted an amendment to the Project Plan for Tax Incremental District No. 3 which amends Table III Project Costs, Methods of Financing, and Time of Cost Incurrance; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has held a public hearing and has notified the Chief Executive Officers of all local government entities havinq the power to levy taxes on property within the district, inclu- ding the school board of any school district which includes property within the district pursuant to 66.46(e) Wisconsin Statutes; and WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh Plan Commission has submitted such amendment to the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh, that: l. 2. Such amendment to the Project Plan for Tax Incremental District No. 3, City of Oshkosh is feasible; and Such amendment to the Project Plan is in conformity with the master plan of the City of Oshkosh; and 3. The improvements described in the amendment are consistent with the goals and objectives of the plan and are designed to eliminate blight and foster rehab- ilitation and conservation; and 4. The amendment promotes the orderly development of the City.
