PURPOSE: REFUND IMPROPERLY ASSESSED REAL ES7ATE TAXES
INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE
WHEREAS, the following real estate taxes were improperly assessed in that
the property is owned by the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation and
should have been exempt, and refund is due:

1981 Tax - Bill No. 2879 174.82
1982 Tax - Bill No. 2882 195.34

NOW, THEftEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh
that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to refund to
Winnebago County the amount of $754,66, and to the City of Oshkosh the amount of
5254.06. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from Account No. 088-690
-- Tax Refund Account.
