PURPOSE: APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT KNOWN AS LAKE REST HARBOR
INITIATED BY: JAMES F. STEINER, LINDA C. KORSCH, WAYNE J. YOUNGWIRTH,
SUZANNE M. YOUNGWIRTH, JAMES R. STEINER, MARY J. STEINER,
GERALD D. STEINER
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved 5-0 with conditions
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the
Preliminary Plat known as Lake Rest Harbor, described below, is hereby approved:
All of lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9; and a part of Lots 1,
12, 13, 15, 16, and 17 all in Block three (3) in the Replat
of Lake Rest Manor and being a part of Government Lot 4 of
Fractional Section 36, T18N, R16E, 14th Ward, City of Oshkosh,
Winnebago County, Wisconsin, containing 4.942 acres of land
more or less, and being described by: Commencing at the south
1/4 corner of said Fractional Section 36, thence N89°-57'-17"E,
442.57 feet, along the south line of Government Lot 4 of said
Fractional Section 36; thence N00°-02'-43"W, 24.75 feet, to a
point where the north line of Waukau Avenue intersects the
Easterly line of Fond du Lac Road �U.S.H. "45") and being the
true point of beginning; thence northerly 207.37 feet, along
the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 1942.82 feet
and a chord of which bears N19°-02'-20"W 207.27 feet; thence
N22°-OS'-48"W 58.85 feet, along the easterly line of Fond du Lac
Road (�.S.H. "45") to a point that will hereinafter be referred
to as Reference Point "A"; thence N78°-03'-09"E 454.37 feet,
along the southerly line of Lake Rest Avenue; thence N62°-13'-32"E
230.17 feet, to a point which is S49°-43'-33"W 23 feet more or
less from the shore of a private lagoon and the beginning of a
meander line along said private lagoon; thence S29°-46'-27"W
108_56 feet, to a point that will hereinafter be referred to as
Reference Point "B"; thence 536°-39'-01"E 161.73 feet; thence
S27°-24'-57"W 122.70 feet; thence S44°-09'-58"E 69.87 feet, to a
point which is S00°-Ol'-57"E 24 feet more or less from the shore
of a private lagoon and the end of a meander line; thence
S00°-01'-57"E 68.63 feet, to a point on the north line of Waukau
Avenue, thence S89°-57'-17"W 594.88 feet, along the north line of
Waukau Avenue to the true point of beginning, including all those
lands lying between the meander line and the water's edge of the
private Lagoon.

Rest Manor containing 4.632 acres of land more or less and
being described by: Commencing at aforesaid Reference Point
"A", thence N22°-OS'-48"W 60.95 feet to a point where the
northerly line of Lake Rest Avenue intersects the easterly line
of Fond du Lac Road iU.S.H. "45") and being the true point of
beginning; thence N22°-OS'-48"W 354.61 feet, along the
easterly line of Fond du Lac Road (U.S.H. "45") to the south-
westerly corner of Lot 7, Block 2 in the Replat of Lake Rest
Manor; thence N67°-15'-45"E 151.01 feet, along the southerly
line of said Lot 7 to its southeasterly corner; thence N22°-
51'-00"W 57_67 feet, along the easterly line of said Lot 7
to its northeasterly corner; thence N86°-33'-58"E 39.95 feet,
along the northerly line of Lot 8, Block 2 in the Replat of
Lake Rest Manor; thence S13°-38'-26"E 143.50 feet; thence
N76°-14�-00"E 321.74 feet, to a point that is S76°-14�-00"W
24 feet more or less from the shore of a private lagoon and
the beginning of a meander line along said private lagoon;
thence S09°-18'-34"E 67.23 feet; thence N74°-29'-02"E 144.05
feet; thence N10°-26'-51"E 124.22 feet; thence SOS°-11'-53"W
213.48 feet; thence S53°-49�-33"E 125.47 feet, to a point on
the northerly line of Lake Rest Avenue which is S62°-13'-32"W
12 feet more or less from the shore of a private lagoon and the
end of the meander line; thence 562°-13'-32"W 198.22 feet,
along the northerly line of Lake Rest Avenue; thence S78°-03'-
09"W 458.40 feet, along the northerly line of Lake Rest Avenue
to the true point of beginning; including all those lands lying
between the meander line and the water's edge of a private lagoon.
Also: All of Lot 13 in Block 3 in the Replat of Lake Rest Manor
containing 0.755 acres of land more or less and being described
by: Commencing at aforesaid Reference Point "B", thence S83°-13'-
37"E 116.23 feet to the beginning of a meander line along the
shore of a private lagoon and being the true point of beginning;
thence N39°-OS'-54��E 67.15 feet; thence S58°-44'-26'E 273.09 feet;
thence S78°-57�-27��W 78.26 feet; thence N62°-16�-24��W 224_79 feet,
to the true point of beginning, including all those lands lying
between the meander line and the shore of a private lagoon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that approval of the Preliminary Plat for Lake Rest
Harbor is contingent upon the following:
1. Outlot 1 should be eliminated and that area be included with Lot 4.
2_ Outlot 2 should be eliminated and that area be included with Lot 23.

3. A covenant stipulating the requirements for payments of $100.00
per unit must be placed on the final plat.
4. The Grading and Drainage Plan show a before and after develop-
ment with fi11 areas, as well as amount/depth of fi11, be
designated prior to final plat approval.
5. That all appropriate DNR permits be obtained prior to the
issuance of any building permi�t on Lot 23.
6_ That the final plat show the change in plat boundary per
Section 236 Wisconsin Statutes.
7_ That the final plat meet all requirements of Section 30-40
Final Plat of the City of Oshkosh Subdivision Ordinance.
8. City of Oshkosh Subdivision Ordinance, Section 30-42 relative
to required improvements to Subdivisions.
