HomeMy WebLinkAbout33367 / 85-04_ � , • May 16, 1985 (CARRIED LOST LAID OVER #4 ORDINANCE WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: AMEND OPERATOR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH REPEALING AND RECREATING SECTIONS 4-14 AND 4-15 OF THE t4UNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF OSHROSH PERTAINING TO OPERATOR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 4-14 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code is hereby repealed and recreated as follows: SECTION 4-14 ISSUANCE OF OPERATOR'S LICENSE Said operator's license shall be issued only to persons who have attained the legal drinking age as defined by Chapter 125 of the Wisconsin Statutes. For the purpose of this Section, any member of the immediate family of the licensee shall be considered as holding an operatox's license provided such family member is under the immediate supervision of the licensee or agent or a person holding an operator's license, who is on the premises at the time of the service. SECTION 2._ That Section 4-25 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code is hereby repealed anca recreated as follows: SECTION 4-25 FEES FOR OPERATOR'S LICENSE The fee for an operator's initial license shall be Twenty Dollars (520.00) for a two-year period or fraction thereof. The fee for an operator's renewal license shall be Fifteen Dollars (515.00) for a two-year period or fxaction thereof. Every operator's license shall expire on the 30th day of June prior to the expiration of the two-year period from the date of issuance. Operator's licenses shall be signed by the City Clerk, and issued after the approval thereof by the Common Council. SECTION 3.
