Home My WebLink About33427 / 85-02June 20, 1985 # 2 RESOLUTION (CARRIED LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: FINAL RESOLUTION - 1985 SEALCOATING PROGRAM INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on June 20, 1985, before the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as to whether sealcoating of certain streets proposed to be done in 1985 should be performed at a cost to the property owner; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that special charges for current services for sealcoating the streets listed on the attached notice be levied against the abutting property according to the attached drawings which are hereby adopted and approved with the following modifications: 1. That the charges to be made against the abutting property for current services under Section 66.60(16) of the Wisconsin Statutes shall be an amount equal to the cost of such services, but not exceeding the sum of $.64 per front foot on the streets or the sum of $.32 per front foot on alleys. 3. That the cost to be charged to corner lots shall be as follows: the full cost thereof with a deduction of 508 on the front footage on the long side of the corner lot providing that this deduction shall not apply to that portion of the corner lot which extends beyond 150 feet of depth. This deduction for corner lots shall be based upon how the property was platted, except where the platted corner lots are subdivided, the deduction shall be based on ownership. 4. That for all parcels of land under one ownership which extend from a street to a parallel street (where said streets are located within 200 feet of each other), the current service charge for sealcoating on each such street adjacent to such property shall be at 75� of the normal charge. 5. That plans and specifications for said sealcoating program are hereby confirmed.
