Home My WebLink About33496 / 85-20SUPPLEMENTAL TASK ORDER N0. 10 TO THE AGREEMENT DATED 6/20/79 BEfNEEN 1HE CTTY OF OSHROSH IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN AND HONARD NEEDLES TAt�'fEN & BERGENDOFF FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES IN CONNECTION i1ITH IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SE4iERAGE SYSTEM '10-'I.0 Purpose Resol. #20 The purpose of this Supplemental Task Order is to establish scope, schedule and payment provisions for engineering services during eaecution of the sexerage system facilities construction contracts as more apecifically described herein. 10-1.1 Consultant shall not commence xork on any task defined by this Supplemental Task Order agreement until authorized by the City. 10-1.2 Agreement by the City to the proviaions of this Supple- mental Task Order does not obligate the City to the Con- sultant for funding or authorization of eny portion of this xork until such time thst the City authorizes the xork defined herein. '10-1.3 The Consultant shall not retain the services of any subcon- sultant for assistance xith the tasks deacribed herein xithout authorization by the City oS Oshkoah. 10-2.0 Scope The acope of the xork to be performed w�der the Supplemental Task Order shall be in accordance with the general provisions described in the Agreement betxeen the City of Oshkosh and Hoxard Needles Ta�en Ec Bergendoff, dated June 20� 1979. These services are further defined in Articles 2.1.4 Construction Phase, and 2.2 Additional Services, of the Agreement, and more specifically des- cribed as folloxs. 10-2.1 The CONSULTANT xill provide the folloWing engineering aervices imder this Supplemental Task Order: 10-2.1.1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Consultant shall provide overall management services to assist the City xith the administration of project fimding pro- grams, administration of the project Phase IB Construction Contracts 86-04, 86-05 and 86-05, and overall management of the belox listed tasks. -�- �'F� ,r Resol. #20 10-2.1.2 SHOP DRAHING SUBMITTAL REVIEN - Provide reviex of ahop draxings and contract submittals for con- formance xith the project plans and specifications. 10-2.1.3 RESIDENT ENGINEERING SERVICES - Provide resident engineering services during eaecution of the xork included in Construction Contracts 86-04 Ceape Avenue Sexer Interceptor, 86-05 Hazel Street Sexer Interceptor, and 86-06 Nebraska Street Sexer Interceptor. 10-2.1.¢ RECORD DRANINGS - Prepare record draKings, based on information to be furnished by the construc- ting Contractor for Contracts 86-04, 86-05 and 86-06. The record drawings xill be altered versions of the original project design draxings. Also, the Consultant xill provide the City xith the necessary record data to complete manhole data recoxd cards. 10-2.1,5 SOILS TESTING - Provide testing of materials offered bq the Contractor for compliance xith project backfill material specifications, and field testing of Contractor's backfill compaction efforts to verify compliance with project epecifications. 10-2.1.6 CONSTRUCTION SfAREOUT - Provide survey control and initisl atakeout for each of the contracts, assist in verifying grades and locations during progress of the construction, assist in final inspection determinations of horizontal and vertical alignment of the facilities, and deter- mine location ties from nex manhole structures to existing property irons. '10-3.0 Schedule The rrork imder this Supplemental Task Order ehall commence upon receipt by the Consultant of an eaecuted copy of the Supplemental Task Order, and authorization to proceed Prom the City to the Consultant. The field services to be provided herein xill conclude upon final acceptance of the xork included in Construction Con- tracts 86-04� 86-�5, and 86-06. Preparation of Record Draxings xill be completed in a timely manner after final acceptance of the construction of work included in Contracts 86-04, 86-05, and 86-06. 10-4.0 Minority and Small Business Enterprises (lLSBE) Minority or Small Busineas Enterprises xill b Consultant to assist in providing the services Supplemental Task Order in accordance with the -2- �� e retained by the included in this City of Oshkosh's �.r Resol. #20 stated guideline for minority or small business enterprise partici- pation of 10� for rork funded xholly or in part by the Wisconsin Fimd grant program. The SBE Subconsultant proposed to provide Construction Surveying services is J.E. Arthur and Associates, Inc. 10-5.0 Payment 10-5.1 Payment for the xork defined �mder this Supplemental Task Order ahall be on the basis of a cost plus fixed fee in accordance xith the general provisions described in Article 8.'1.1 of the Consultant Services Agreement betxeen the City and Consultant dated June 20, 1q79. The total charges for this Supplemental Task Order xill not exceed $ 179,399, imless otherxise agreed to in xriting. '10-5.2 The estimated direct labar cests, indirect costs, other direct coets, and profit xill be itemized in the Supple- mental Task Order COST OR PRICE SUMMARY FORMAT FOR SUB- AGREEMENTS UNDER NISCONSIN FUND GRANTS form, end on the attachments incidental to those forms.
