HomeMy WebLinkAbout33509 / 85-10RESOLUTION # 10 PETITZON FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT i �UN 1 Q 1985 To the Common Council of OSNKO8HC WI3, The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin: Mercy Medical Center of Oshkosh, Inc. (Mercy) respectfully petitions the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh and represents to said Council the following: 1) That Mercy is an acute care and medical facility located at 631 Hazel Street in the City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and is a "hospital" as defined in Section 30-3 of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordizance. 2) That Mercy is the owner of certain property in Block 3, Charles Barber Replat, llth Ward, City of Oshkosh, and more par- ticularly described as follows (the "Captioned Property"): Lots 6, 7, S, and 9, Charles Barber's Replat, Eleventh Ward, City of Oshkosh. Said Block 3 formerly known as B1ock Three, Barber & Madison's Addition. 3) That Mercy is also the owner of contiguous property located in said Block 3 of Charles Barber's Replat, which is included in Special Use Permits previously issued by the City of Oshkosh, namely on May 20, 1976, March 16, 1978, September 20, 1979, and June 2, 1983. 4) That Mercy desires to use the Captioned Property for hos- pital purposes and specifically for offstreet parking, landscaping, and for such other hospital purposes as may be required from time to time. 5) That Mercy acknowledges that the Special Use Permit granted on June 2, 1983, covering all of Lots 1 and 5 and part of Lot 4 of Block 3 of Charles Barber's Replat, was granted subject to the condition that the Fort Bragg Monument be successfully relocated and that the site plan regarding parking be submitted to the City for administrative review. That your petitioner anticipates that a Special Use Permit as requested in this petition would also be subject to the filing of a site plan regarding parking for administrative review by the City. - 17a - .J , RESOLUTION # 10 HEREFORE, Mercy Medical Center of Oshkosh, Inc. respectfully «.�..��..a that the Common Council grant a Special Use Permit pursuant to Section 30.18 of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh allow- ing Mercy to use the Captioned Premises as set forth above. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said permit is granted subject to the following condition: 1. That parking be prohibited on Lots 8 and 9 and be used only for landscaping purposes. 2. That Mercy Medical Center will proceed to get Landmarks Commission and Plan Commission approval for the relocation of the Ft. Bragg monument to the corner of Hazel and Irving Streets. This relocation shall be accomplished no later than July 1, 1986.
